American Painted Lady - Vanessa virginiensis (Drury, 1773)

            Una preciosidad que podemos encontrar, de forma muy localizada, en la isla de Gran Canaria, sin duda una de las especies mas bellas que podemos ver aquí.

Es casi mas sencillo encontrar sus larvas que los adultos, este ejemplar fue criado en mi jardín y fotografiado sobre su propia planta nutricia (Gnaphalium)
