These aren't my best shots from the practice, only the best examples for real-world comparison.

Of note is the purple fringing on high contrast areas, a typical result with the 28/2 wide open.

Also interesting is the noise at ISO 1600:  There is very little chroma noise, and the luminance noise is very smooth.  It's not distracting in the least, looking a lot like film grain.
