Seattle from The Space Needle - happy days!

            Having spent three weeks in the US, mainly in Montana the flights out of Seattle back to UK were such that some time was available  to be spent in this fine city. 

Home to the '62 World's Fair the Space tower was built at that time, It was then 'state of the art' and now a 50 year old monument to those times.  The Monorail tracks can be seen running along the centre of the shot to the downtown area. 

The view from the top is not always great, Seattle has a reputation of being a wet and sometime misty town but not on this day.
