Mould on wine storage of a Loire vinyard

            Deep under the vinyard on a recent trip to the Loire we enjoyed a lunch deep underground in an old chall mine, the chalk that was used for building.  

The old galleries now used to store wine and as an occaisional place to meet or lunch.  The wine that was  bottled and stored had been, in some cases, been there since thee 1940's.
