L'église paroissiale de Mazan-l'Abbaye (Ardèche)

            L'église paroissiale de Mazan-l'Abbaye a été construite en 1845 en réutilisant les pierres de l'ancienne abbaye en ruine. L'abbaye cistercienne de Mazan (juste à côté de l'église actuelle) a été fermée définitivement en 1790. Elle est devenue une carrière de pierres pour les habitants de la commune.
L'église et les ruines de l'abbaye ont servi de support en 2017 au plasticien Felice Varini pour tracer des cercles à la feuille d'or. On aime ou on n'aime pas. Si on n'aime pas on fait avec.
Felice Varini s'est ensuite exprimé sur les murs de la Cité de Carcassonne (2018).
