Reflections - a photo on Flickriver

Reflections

            The American bullfrog's (Rana catesbeiana) reflection is in the pond surface and the sky reflects in the frog's eye.

It is unusual to find them in the open like this and in a location that is accessible via a kayak. But the frog's vulnerability to herons (and other predators) is great for the photographer - the image is absent of annoying distractions.
