Opal Ridge, summit hike/scramble - Ben on the ridge, ready to head to the summit

            We knew there would be clouds and some wind, and we got a bit more than we expected, but still had a great hike.  A bonus was the some nice "atmospherics," with sunbeams dancing through the valley, and even a rainbow! We walked over 8 km's, gaining around 1100 m's with all the ups and downs.
