Sunset in Pandora [ Explore ] - a photo on Flickriver

            During a recent trip to Walt Disney World I was able to pull off an evening Fast Pass for the coveted Flight of Passage.  With a Fast Pass time ending close to Sunset I realized that I was going get my first chance at taking photos in Disney’s Animal Kingdom after dark. I had a list of 3 that I wanted to get that night so I packed everything I would need into my backpack and hopped on the Animal Kingdom bus late in the afternoon.  

After a quick ride on Expedition Everest my wife and I trekked over to the Nomad Lounge for a drink and a quick bite before working our way to Flight of Passage.  As we headed towards the ride entrance I noticed the Sun was setting right behind the Floating Mountains of Pandora.  I had not planned on getting any Sunset shots, but realized that I might get a decent sunburst shot if I moved around and found the right location. Once I found the spot I pulled my camera out of my back and started playing with my settings.  I fumbled around for about 30 seconds trying to get everything right and when I looked up I realized I had missed my opportunity in that location.  I quickly ran down a little hill and found another spot and started shooting.  I took about 80+ shots, moving and adjusting as the sun set behind the Floating Mountains of Pandora.   Once the Sun disappeared I put my camera back in my back and crossed my fingers that I got something decent.  As expected most of them turned out terrible, but there were a few keepers as well.  So far this is my favorite.  My processing skills are still rather limited so any thoughts or suggestions are welcome.
