Narrow lane in Kingsand, Cornwall - a photo on Flickriver

            Kingsand and its neighbouring twin village, Cawsand, are on the Rame Peninsula at the far eastern end of Cornwall, where they overlook Plymouth Sound. This is a relatively quiet part of Cornwall, and is one of my favourite places, though it can often receive a battering in the winter storms. The villages are well known for their narrow streets and lanes, and this one in Kingsand is known as Heavitree Road. The buildings mainly date from the 18th century.
