It's been a minute.

After my Tennessee trip in June, I've spent a lot of time planning my upcoming trip to Ireland. It's been almost unbearably hot in the afternoons, and as I've (possibly repeatedly) mentioned before, I spend a lot of time out enjoying our pool and hot tubs. It's almost like I live in a luxury hotel complex and I make sure I take full advantage of the facilities here at home.

Still, with all my activities, I didn't want the month of August to slide by in memory without at least taking ONE short local Photo Expedition. I took a chance this morning, on the last day of the month, and the first day of the Labor Day Weekend, to drive the short 6 miles down to "my beach", Cabrillo in San Pedro, with my camera bag.

Here Mr. Sun begins to put on a show for me. Thank you Mr. Sun!
