Jackson, MS Kennington Department Store

            Kennington's was established in this location in 1905; it merged with McRae's in 1970. I assume this store was closed and consolidated into McRae's. McRae's was purchased by Proffitt's in 1994 and then by Belk 2005 with all stores rebranded with Belk. Found in the Smith Park Architectural District, on the National Register #76001097.
