San Miguel, CA Mission San Miguel Arcángel

            Mission San Miguel Arcángel dates to July 25, 1797 with the current church dating to circa 1817. The painted walls inside the church are the original artwork by artist Esteban Munras and other Salinan artists. The mission is on the National Register of Historic Places #71000191 and is also a National Historic Landmark.
