36-Frame Photowalk

A photowalk as part of the Austin Photowalks group, www.facebook.com/groups/austinphotowalks

This was an exercise to take us back to the days of film and pretend that we only had a roll of 36 exposure film, I do not think any real film shooters attended. The goal was to force us to slow down and think through the shoot and try to get everything right with the click of the shutter.

It was a fun experience. I did find that I accidentally hit the shutter a couple of times, wasting 2 whole frames! I also passed up a couple of shots that I was not too sure would work, that normally I would have taken.

We all still had one advantage over film cameras, we could still review the shat immediately, instead of waiting till development time.

I look forward to doing this again.
