81, JV 9901, AEC Regent III, Roe Body, 1946

            Looking resplendent is Grimsby Corporation's no.81, JV 9901, an RT style AEC Regent III dating from 1946, with superb Roe Bodywork. 

Behind it is one of 3 Park-Royal Utility Bodied Karrier W's delivered in 1944 (no.2, JV 8702), affectionately called 'Doodlebugs' by the GCT staff on account of their blistering speed and quietness!! Whispering death more like!!! Bit like a Bristol Beaufighter!!!

Any ideas of location, looks to be Freeman Street, on account of the Regent's destination display?
