Bala Lake Railway - Aug. 2009

            Situated along the southernmost length of lakeside of Bala Lake, is the magnificent narrow gauge 'Bala Lake Railway'. A real gem, and well worth a visit.

Here is a view of 'Holy War', a superb little loco built in Leeds by Hunslett and Co.. It is seen waiting to take its train from Llanuwchllyn station at the southern end of the line, to Bala, at the top end.
