5076, B262 LPH, Leyland Olympian (t.2013)

            Seen at Amersham Station during the 2013 Amersham Running Day is this fine Leyland Olympian ONTL 11-1R, with ECW Body (H43-29F). 
This 'widely' but locally travelled vehicle came to Luton & District when they acquired some of Sovereign's Stevenage operations in the early 1990's.

It became no.662 with L&D, and came over to Aylesbury in around 1995-6. It has since managed to stay in the area, eventually ending up with Simmond's, still retaining a predominantly Arriva based livery.

This bus has received wheel trims, and looks to be in very good condition. I assume it will be restored soon?
