This one's for Doug - a photo on Flickriver

            While I was away in Ecuador shooting the hummers, we heard about the death of a friend of ours, Carlton (Doug) Douglas.  Doug was fun-loving, generous, hospitable, principled and a skilled chef of Chinese food.

This hummingbird is a Sparkling Violetear - and Doug, "Sparkling" is what you were.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Barb and the family.
