Intercity Speed Machine - a photo on Flickriver

            Thanks to Railcam, sometimes the workings have the Loco identified, this was one such occasion where I knew well in advance which loco was on the working.

I positioned myself just south of Colton Junction, York to attempt a pan shot of the celebrity East Coast Intercity liveried Class 91. 

The East Coast trains are flying past here at 125mph and even with a burst of shots, there are not many to chose from, thankfully one was in focus. Here 91119 pushes south with the 14:00 1E18 Edinburgh - Kings Cross, heading into an approaching storm, which I also ran into on the way back home.
