            A few more from Italy; On the edge of Vesuvius. Crater to left, the Amalfi coast stretching off into the distance on right.

We'd started off in cloud and drizzle, but by waiting (and shivering) for half an hour produced a nice break in the clouds. Having forgotten to bring a rain coat on the holiday my wife also forgot this day to pack a jumper; fortunately she was able to purchase a cheap Italy coat from the shanty town of traders by the entrance to the final climb
