Curculionid, now with flash - a photo on Flickriver

            Same specimen (see comment below) photographed with exactly the same equipment, except the light. I used a flash (Speedlite 270EX ii) instead of LEDs. Diffused the light with paper (copy paper 80gr) all around the specimen. Camera specs: ISO100, f5.6, 1/200sec, white balance on flash. Stacked 82 images in Zerene (Dmap, retouched a little bit with elements from Pmax). Picasa for sharpening.
The result is much sharper, I guess the shorter exposures do pay off. But after 30-40 shots the flash (it has 2 AA batteries of 1,5V) reloads very slowly. I'm looking for a way to have a DIY mains adapter for it.
