The end of my mothers car - it did hit an almost dead tree in the hedge on the left side of the car -IMG_20210329_183347

            On March 29 I woke up in our Ford Cmax after the car hit a dying and partially rotten  tree shown to the left of our car. The car damaged its left front wheel and lost its front. That was laying in small pieces in the hedge and on the street after the accident. Fortunately I was slow enough on my way back home from a doctors appointment on that day when I lost control over our car after dozing off for a few seconds that we did not get injured or even shaken up. My mother suffers from Alzheimer and does not even remember it. And I was asleep when the crash actually happened.

The car was bought by my father in December 2013. My mother already owned half of the car and inherited another quarter when my father dies in October 2014. The mechnical part of the car seems to have survived without damage except  to the radiator . But the damaged body of the car would cost more than 10000€ to fix. So the car is likely totaled.
