Toledo è una città situata nel centro della Spagna, nella regione di Castilla-La Mancha. È stata dichiarata Patrimonio Mondiale dell'Umanità dall'UNESCO nel 1986 per il suo vasto patrimonio culturale, monumentale e storico dato dalla co-esistenza delle culture cristiana, musulmana ed ebrea. Toledo è anche conosciuta come la "città imperiale" per essere stata la sede principale della corte di Carlo I. Nel 1085, la città cadde in mano ad Alfonso VI di Castiglia e fu la prima città importante durante la Reconquista. Toledo ha una lunga tradizione nella produzione di armi bianche, che sono divenuti ormai popolari souvenir.

Toledo is a city located in central Spain, in the community of Castile–La Mancha. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986 for its extensive cultural and monumental heritage and historical co-existence of Christian, Muslim and Jewish cultures ("City of the Three Cultures").Toledo is also known as the "Imperial City" for having been the main venue of the court of Charles I. In 1085, the city fell to Alfonso VI of Castile as the first major city in the Christian Reconquista. Toledo has a history in the production of bladed weapons, which are now popular souvenirs of the city.
