A wondrous night. - a photo on Flickriver

A wondrous night.

            The Aurora Australis viewed from 34.95 S, I did not ever expect to see this from such a northerly point, but tonight has been special.  There was not a lot visible to the naked eye, but an exposure of around 30 seconds has created this wonder, with beams climbing high into the sky.
