            Den här gamla gården håller tyvärr på att förfalla, med undantag för boningshuset som ändå tycks hållas i "överlevnadsbart" skick. 

The village of Fälön. 

This old farm is sadly decaying, with the exception of the dwelling-house which seems to be kept in "survivable" status.

The style of the houses is typical for this area. The red paint is "falu rödfärg", a colour made of iron oxide (Fe2O3) and made popular during the late 19:th century when farmers could afford it, due to industrial production of the colour. Before that, only the wealthy could have their houses painted in red.
