20110812 Politik

A political demonstration in Khreshchatyk, Kyiv (Kiev), Ukraine.

If I remember rightly this was a protest in support of Yulia Tymoshenko (Юлія Тимошенко), former co-leader of the Orange Revolution and former Prime Minister, who by this point was on trial by the then-Russian backed Yanukovych government. She was jailed, but released 3 years later following the Maidan Revolution. She would later come second and third in the 2014 and 2019 elections.

Taken with my Nikon D40, fitted with a Tamron 70-300mm F4/5.6 DI LD (Nikon AFS) lens and processed in Photoshop, and Photoscape.
