The Myra rock tombs, in Demre, Antalya, Anatolia, Turkey.

Rock tombs on the site of the city of Myra, one of the largest members of the Lycian league, and home of St Nicholas of Myra, of Santa Claus fame. The city has been a part of the Ancient Greek, Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman empires, and the rock tombs date back to the Lycian period (168 BC–43 AD).

Shot with a Nikon D40 and a Nikkor AFS DX 18-55mm F/3.5-5.6G II lens, and processed in GIMP and Photoscape.
