MATCHBOX 1951 HUDSON HORNET NO28 FERNANDO VALLEY NUWAN FIRE DEPARTMENT 1/64

            Despite knowing about its nasty unpainted grey plastic instead of chrome beforehand, I knew that if and when this 2018 recolour of the Matchbox 1951 Hudson Hornet hit U.K. ASDA stores then I would buy several of them! That lack of chrome has been recently corrected on two of my most recent purchases thanks to the Molotow liquid silver pen but earlier versions like this remain original and a little bit lacking in the detailing department.
Still a beautifully bulbous little model which has been very intricately cast and now features an entirely believable Fernando Valley Fire livery.
One of many bought back in late November when Case L began to appear. Mint and boxed.
