Zhangye-Danxia-Geopark - a photo on Flickriver

            Und dies ist nun die berühmteste Ansicht hier im Danxia Geopark. Wenn man nach Bildern sucht "Zhangye Danxia", dann findet man zuweilen Bilder, die gestreifte Erdhügel in allen nur erdenklichen prallen Farben zeigen. Ähnlich ist das bei der "Artists Palette" im Death Valley. Das ist FAKE, völlig überbearbeitet. Je nach Sonnenstand lassen sich neben allen nur erdenklichen grau-, rot-, ocker-, gelb- und beige-Tönen auch grünliche und bläuliche Streifen erahnen, aber nicht so wie auf manchen Bildern gezeigt. Ich mach sowas nicht! Am besten lässt sich die Farbvielfalt an einem Sommermorgen erkennen. Ich war an einem Winterabend bei Sonnenuntergang dort. Da liegt der bunte Hang teilweise im Schatten und Schnee verdeckt so manchen bunten Streifen. Ich find's so aber auch schön :-)

And this is now the most famous view here in Danxia Geopark. If you look for pictures "Zhangye Danxia", you will sometimes find pictures that show striped mounds of earth in all conceivable bright colors. It is similar with the "Artists Palette" in Death Valley. This is FAKE, completely over-treated. Depending on the position of the sun, in addition to all conceivable gray, red, ocher, yellow and beige tones, greenish and bluish stripes can also be guessed at, but not as shown in some pictures. I don't do that kind of over treatment! The best way to see the variety of colors is on a summer morning. I was there on a winter evening at sunset. The colorful slope is partly in the shade and snow hides some colorful stripes. I think it's nice that way, too :-)
