Trollkirche - Troll church - Trollkirka

            Nachdem ich am (sehr sehr) frühen Morgen bereits ein paar Stunden an der Atlantikstraße fotografieren war, bin ich weiter gefahren in Richtung Trollkirche. Auch hier war ich der erste. Später am Tag gibt es hier keine Parkplätze mehr!! Nach 2 Stunden Aufstieg erreicht man Norwegens längste Höhle, nur 70 m lang, stockfinster und am Ende befindet sich ein 14 m hoher Wasserfall. Man kann sich kaum vorstellen wie laut es hier drinnen ist ! Auch hier ist später am Tag trotz des anstrengenden Aufstiegs sehr viel los. Ich war, als Frühaufsteher, ganz alleine hier oben. Das Bild zeigt die obere der beiden Höhlen.

After taking pictures of the Atlantic Road for a couple of hours on the very (very) early morning, I drove on to the Troll Church. Once again, I was the first. Later in the day there are no more parking spaces !! After 2 hours of ascent you reach  Norway's longest cave , only 70 m long, pitch dark and at the end there is a 14 m high waterfall. It's hard to imagine how loud it is in here! Here, too, is very busy later in the day despite the strenuous climb. As usual I was an early bird and all alone up here. The picture shows the upper of the two caves.
