Sleeping Lions - a photo on Flickriver

Sleeping Lions

            It's not all about the wildlife... Well in my case it absolutely is (!), but I like to take some landscape images wherever I go to try and show some context to their environment. In Namibia, you could argue the landscapes are just as important photographically, and you're spoilt for choice.

So here's an effort to combine the two from our first evening at Erindi Game Reserve. Just as sun went below the horizon and while it started to get dark we set about to leave a male and female Lion and their young cub, when the sky lit up like this.
