EC-CCF Spantax Douglas DC-8-61CF - a photo on Flickriver

            Another Manchester departure, another DC-8 this time in service with Spantax. Originally N8786R with Trans Caribbean Airways; Trans International Airlines and American Airlines she joined Spantax in 1973 fort the holiday charter boom.In 1984 like many DC-8s she underwent cargo conversion and joined UPS becoming EI-BPF and later N797UP. Eventually stored as Roswell in 2003  and bought by Aeroturbine before she was scrapped. Alan Lord Collection
