N959R Emery Douglas DC-8-63CF - a photo on Flickriver

            Back in the 1980s Manchester saw quite a number of DC-8 aircraft in use by Emery Worldwide Here N959R is departing the cargo apron on its way to the hold of runway 24. Originally D-ADIY with Atlantis and delivered in 1971 it had joined Emery in 1985 becoming part of their ever expanding fleet.Emery officially ceased operating on December 5, 2001. This aircraft had been withdrawn from company use in 1999 and stored at Smyrna. Later it became PR-SKC with Skymaster Airlines but was but was stored at Campinas Viracopos in 2009.
