Piper J.3C-65 Cub ’42-38384’ (G-BHVV)

            c/n 8953
Built 1942 for the US Army Air Corps with the serial 42-38384.
Later saw French Army service as ‘238384’.
Now privately owned and restored in a false but accurate US Marine Corps scheme, representing an NE-1 (the US Navy designation for the J.3C-65).
Seen taxiing out to display at the Shuttleworth Collections 2019 Season Premier Airshow.
