            Stavanger
El barrio antiguo de Straen, situado en la ladera al oeste del puerto viejo. Está compuesto por 173 casas de madera, pintadas en su mayoria de blanco, sus calles adornadas de flores son un espectáculo para los sentidos.
Construido entre los siglos XVIII y XIX, conformando un barrio obrero dedicado a la industria conservera. El arquitecto Heiner Hedens lo recupero preservándolo para las futuras generaciones. En la actualidad es propiedad del Ayuntamiento de la ciudad.

Stavanger
The old quarter of Straen, situated on the hillside west of the old port. It is composed of 173 wooden houses, mostly painted white, its streets decorated with flowers are a spectacle for the senses.
Built between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, forming a working district dedicated to the canning industry. The architect Heiner Hedens recovered it preserving it for future generations. It is currently owned by the city council.
