Abused & Abandoned Street Dogs.

Lots to talk about today so we'll skip the
part about the dangerous ride out here.
Or the part about leaving in the pitch
black just as the clock said 5:AM !

Or the part about filling up at the last
gas station before the temple. Or
the part about 4 tourists buses
also there from Cambodia
with Chinese tourists !
We'll skip all that ;-)

Left the scooter running when I pulled into
The Dog Palace so I'd have some light.
Mama & Rocky came crashing into
me only seconds after my arrival.
Had to sit on the ground so
they could abuse me ;-)

Scooter is unloaded.
Bingo Room is opened.
The Tube's carefully packed.
Camera settings are checked.
Then off we go into The DMZ ;-)

As we were crossing the broken concrete
walking bridge with Mama in the lead I could
see a constant flow of wild, crazed primates ;-0

Rocky stuck close to my side as we make
our way through the monkey gauntlet.
Handed off some coffee an tea to the
nuns then took off with Mama, Rocky
and Mickey for "The Spirit House."

Now here's something very interesting.
About halfway between the nuns place
and The Spirit House I see a large cage.
Maybe 30-40 ft long, 8-10 ft wide and
8 ft tall. Wasn't here before but here it
is today ? Finely found out by having
no# 1 call the nuns. This next part is
going to be hilarious. The government
plans to trap male monkeys in the cage
and then neuter them ! They get a nod
for the effort but I have my doughts
about it as a well thought out plan.

There's 3000 + primates here so lets
say 1500 are males. So you get a few
to go into the cage and one is shot with
a tranquilizer gun. Who's going to rush in
and grab him while a bunch of others in the
cage are going absolutely Bananas ? IMHO
this new plan won't last to long after somebody
gets bit cuz it's inevitable your going to loose ;-0

Now I could be wrong, but it
would be the first time ever ;-)

For years I've campaigned for
this to happen so I wish them well.

Once I got down to The Hooligans the head monk
wanted me to follow him quickly to his bungalow.
He pointed under his bed and said Boo Boo Bad.

I could see Boo Boo way back under the bed
in a dark corner. The monk called him but
Boo Boo wouldn't come out. I laid down
flat and started talking with Boo Boo.
He finally wiggled his way out and
let me address his bad monkey
wound. Nasty wound, filled it
with antibiotic cream then
went way back over to
The Bingo Room.

Once there I mixed up a special formula
made just for deep puncture wounds.
As seen in the next photograph.

Went back to The Dog Palace and put
all the stuff away in The Bingo Room.
Fed Molly & Crew then headed over
to the nuns to brush the dogs and
take my much needed field bath.

I'm now running on low energy.
Knowing it's a long ride home
I took off being very cautious
of all the drivers around me.

Once home two more silly
dogs had to give me the
once over just incase ;-)
