Abused And Abandoned Jungle Dogs.

Before 5AM I was already headed
towards The Monkey Temple.
Photos will come later.

But first we'll talk about a Pumpkin story
that took place yesterday right here.

A quick refresher ---

Pumpkin The Bumpkin will only let no#1
an myself get close an interact with her.
It's a very loving relationship we have ;-)
She guards us with her life being part
Bangkaew Dog. Anybody else is not
welcome into her world, until now.

Lots of relatives have been showing up
at our place. Looks like a resort and
everyone is having big fun camped
out in tiny little mushroom tents.

So here's how this story unfolded.

The young girl is one of my many nieces.
Her name is Anna and speaks 3 different
languages and has started learning a 4th.

Yesterday Anna and I were sitting in front
of the computer viewing flickr dog photos.
Pumpkin slowly came out of the bedroom
and I could hear a slight rumble in her chest.
Now here's the real cool part. Pumpkin slowly
but steadily came up to Anna and sniffed her
arm then gave her a short lick and dog kiss.
I knew immediately that this was a special
friendship being initiated by Pumpkin. ;-)~

A minute later Pumpkin returned to
her personal blanket in the bedroom.
This got me to thinking and I didn't think
on it to long. Put a soft collar on Pumpkin
and handed the leash to Anna, we went for
a short easy walk. As you can see in this photo
a loving friendship has taken place right before
your very eyes. Pumpkins smiling, Anna's smiling
and of course I too am smiling from ear to ear ..;-)~

FYI:
Anna is 12 yrs old and lives in Sweden.
Her mom, [no# 1's sister] and Anna
come to visit us three times a year.
IMO,
Anna will make a good veterinarian.
When the animals come to you and
open their heart, that says a lot ;-)~
