London United AEC trolleybus - a photo on Flickriver

            London's first trolleybuses were sixty AEC Renown Model 663T chassis operated by London United Tramways from Fulwell depot. Four routes served Twickenham, Kingston, Wimbledon, Norbiton, Teddington, Hampton Wick. commencing in May 1931.

Traction equipment was by English Electric (35 buses) and British Thomson-Houston (25 buses). The 56-seat bodywork was assembled at Feltham Middlesex by the Union Construction & Finance Co.

Trolley No 1 (HX2756) is preserved in the LT Museum.
