Hainlaufkäfer (Carabus nemoralis) bei der Paarung

            Hainlaufkäfer sind tag- und nachtaktive Räuber. Sie jagen Insekten, Schnecken und Würmer vor allem aber Schmetterlingsraupen.
Aber auch Fallobst verschmähen sie nicht.
Man findet ihn vom Frühjahr bis Mai und ab August.
