Adonis Blue Polyommatus bellargus - a photo on Flickriver

            I was delighted to see this brilliant blue butterfly on a windy day in May flying over a patch of Horseshoe Vetch at Martin Down, Hampshire, before settling to nectar. Horseshoe Vetch is also its caterpillar foodplant.
