La chapelle St Jean des commandeurs - Poët Laval

            Sa construction est probablement contemporaine de celle du château (début XIIIe siècle).
L'édifice a été très endommagé par les guerres de Religion : la voûte et les élévations latérales de la nef, initialement décorées d'arcatures dont il ne subsiste que les amorces de part et d'autre du chœur, ont été reconstruites à la fin du XVIIe siècle.
La chapelle est restée église paroissiale jusqu’à la construction de la nouvelle église en contrebas du village en 1895. La nef et la sacristie attenante se sont effondrées dans les années 1930, et n'ont jamais été reconstruites.


Its construction is probably contemporary with that of the castle (early 13th century).
The building was badly damaged by the Wars of Religion: the vault and the side elevations of the nave, initially decorated with arcades of which only the beginnings remain on either side of the choir, were rebuilt at the end of the 17th century.
The chapel remained a parish church until the construction of the new church below the village in 1895. The nave and adjoining sacristy collapsed in the 1930s, and were never rebuilt.
