            C-FYWT, a de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Mk. III Turbo-Beaver, waisted little time in getting airborne from runway 33 at Toronto Buttonville Municipal Airport in Markham, Ontario. 

Serial number 1642TB23 began its career on May 25, 1966. 
     The 55-year-old remains in fine fettle. 

Today it is owned and operated by Pioneer Construction Inc. of Sudbury, Ontario - approximately 210 statute miles / 340 kilometres north of its birthplace in Toronto.
