Sensational Sight & Sound - a photo on Flickriver

            RA-76503, a 10-year-old Ilyushin Il-76TD-90VD Candid, on approach to runway 15L at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Mississauga, Ontario. It was arriving as VDA4954 (Volga-Dnepr Airlines) from Seoul, Korea; Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Russia; and Edmonton, Alberta. 

The prototype Il-76 first flew on March 25, 1971. Fifty years later, the latest variant of the type is in limited production.
