Spotlit

            A snowy egret emerges from the shadows to be spotlit by the early morning light.

I was lucky enough to experience two feeding frenzies while we were in Florida, both occurring at Ding Darling NWR during low tides.  The number of birds actively feeding and flying was almost overwhelming, and it was difficult to focus on single birds.  In addition, the lighting was very challenging as the birds flew in and out of shadow and morning light,  But..... when it all came together, the results were magical.
