Surprised to see me? - a photo on Flickriver

            Well……yeah!  Was not expecting this!

We were out at the Cabrillo National Monument when I saw what I thought was a flash of blue.  This was of course after I had put all my gear away.  Sure enough, a western bluebird came and sat on a post right in front of our car.  Back out of the car, into the trunk, swapped camera bodies on my lens, close the trunk and it’s still there!  I get close for a shot or three and here comes a busload of very noisy kids.  Gone!  Lucky for me I waited around, and it quickly came back.  It was back on a post with a gorgeous springtime background and allowed me to pop off a few frames. Sweet!
