Normanton Church, Rutland Water. - a photo on Flickriver

            The village of Normanton was flooded in the 1970's to make the present day reservoir.
 The church, built in the 1820's in the classical style was saved from the waters, the floor being raised so the building can stil be used for weddings and special occasions.
