91108 1S13 Berwick Upon Tweed. 22-7-19

            This was the locomotives penultimate passenger working before withdrawal from service.

I was its driver Newcastle to Edinburgh. The locomotive had  the dubious honour of being the first of its class to be withdrawn.

Thanks to driver manager Peter for taking this image on my camera during the Berwick station stop.

I was told the locomotive would haul  an ECS move from Bounds Green the following day, then Light engine to Doncaster works to be stripped for parts salvage to keep other class 91's in traffic until the Azuma take over is complete by Summer 2020.
