On The Shores of Loch Vrotachan - a photo on Flickriver

            High in the mountains, between Carn Aosda and The Cairnwell is Loch Vrotachcan where a small hut stands on its shores. Still flecked with the remnants of winter snow, the dramatic Cairngorm mountains rise high over the deep blue waters, a complete contrast to how it was when I was here just 2 weeks ago.

This trip sees me bagging 2 more Munro's.  Carn Aosda, my 22nd Munro, stands at 917 meters (3008 feet), while The Cairnwell, my 23rd Munro, stands at 933 meters (3061 feet).  They do both stand at the heart of the Glenshee Ski Development, so may be not a pretty or remote as some other Munro's.
