ABOUT COTTON...

We all know cotton, but what do we actually KNOW about cotton?

It is not something you see here often in the UK, but I had the oportunity and took advantage of it.PLEASE, take the time to View LARGE and On Black, well worth it!
I could NOT imagine my life without it, together with silk and wool, my absolute favorite materials. I do not like synthetics and avoid them as much as possible, not a fanatic in anything, I do enjoy Fleece (made from recycled bottles?).

Cotton is a soft, fluffy staple fiber that grows in a boll, or protective capsule, around the seeds of cotton plants of the genus Gossypium. The plant is a shrub native to tropical and subtropical regions around the world, including the Americas, Africa, India, and Pakistan. The fiber most often is spun into yarn or thread and used to make a soft, breathable textile, which is the most widely used natural-fiber cloth in clothing today.
