Bloomin' Wild

            Whitsand Bay is situated in South East Cornwall.  It runs from Rame Head in the east,  a conical hill with the ruins of a 14th-century chapel dedicated to St Michael on top, to the village of Portwrinkle in the west. It is characterised by sheer, high cliffs, dramatic scenery and long stretches of sandy beaches. The South West Coast Path runs the length of the bay.

Portwrinkle was traditionally a fishing village and the old 17th century walls of the pilchard cellars are still standing, although they have been incorporated into housing. The village has a harbour, and two beaches.
