My oldest TRMs

            These two issues of 'The Railway Magazine' from 1949 and 1950 are the oldest ones in my collection which mostly dates from the 1960s and newer. I was only 1 year old at that time so  I likely purchased them second-hand at a heritage railway fund-raising stall.
Interestingly, the 1949 one is for 2 months whereas the 1950 one is for one month; I think this was related to shortages of paper and other resources following WW2, which presumably were less of a concern by April 1950.
